Here's the reality: most people who think they're getting tired after a workout don't actually experience it. While you can occasionally feel a bit sluggish and irritable after exercise, that doesn't happen very often. As a matter of fact, most people are right back to their normal selves after they leave the gym.
People always think that if they're really tired after a workout, they'll get sick or have a cold. This isn't true. In fact, many people will get just a little bit of motion sickness when they go running. They think that since they feel a little dizzy they'll be nauseous.
That's not unusual for people who're really, really tired. But getting sick isn't a sign that you're getting tired after a workout either. So how can you tell that you're getting tired after a workout?
There are a few signs that you're not quite as tired as you thought you were, but just need a little rest. Here are some of the more common ones.
You might find yourself having a difficult time sleeping. After exercising, your body goes into a recovery mode that keeps your muscles limber for the next day.
